Welcome Friends and Family
We are a not-for-profit, community theatre organization located in Amherst, Nova Scotia, devoted to developing an appreciation for, and improving the quality of, performing arts within our community.
Some of the objectives of this organization are:
- to expose theatre lovers to as much professional theatre as possible. Part of the way we do this is through our theatre tours,
- to give adults, teens and kids an opportunity to participate in and see theatre in their own communities. Part of the way we do this is through our theatre productions or productions by other theatre groups in our community,
- to provide financial assistance to deserving students who wish to study some facet of the performing arts by providing sponsorships to music, theatre and dance camps,
- to provide TWO $2,000 scholarships to students graduating from the Amherst Regional High School or other Cumberland County High Schools and going on to study the performing arts,
- and finally, to have fun and encourages family participation in all their activities and offer a family membership as well as an individual membership.
